Holiday Activity Fund clubs (HAF)

Are you looking for childcare or for something for your child to do over the long summer holidays?

If so, you might be eligible for a FREE place for your child in a Holiday Activity and Food programme (HAF). These clubs are held in a range of places and times across Carlisle and the surrounding area during the summer holidays. 

If you would like your child to attend:

1. Contact school on 01228 558724 or by speaking to someone on the gate or in the school office where we can check to see if you would be eligible for a FREE place and if so we will give you a code.
2. once you have the code, you can choose which club you would like your child to attend, then contact the provider direct to ask if they have availability and give them the code that we have given you. The telephone number and email addresses for each club are shown overleaf.
3. The full list of clubs is shown on Cumberland.gov.uk/holidays
4. Bookings will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis and are subject to availability
5. Some activity providers offer transport.
6. The activity provider will give you more information about the club when you contact them.
7. All children who attend will also be provided with a meal.
8. Eligible children can access up to 16 sessions this summer
9. If you are not eligible for a FREE place, many providers offer paid places – please contact them direct to discuss your options
10. Many providers cater for children with additional needs, please contact the provider to discuss your child’s needs and suitability of the session if this applies to you.
