EYFS - Mrs Graham and Miss Ashton

Ice exploration. During the last few days the Nursery children have been making and exploring ice.

Garden transformation. We have lots of new plants, and a small tree in our growing area outside in the garden, we are hoping to attract butterflies and ladybirds.

Art Day, making our amazing decoupage jungle animals.

Happy Holi! Today is Holi, we celebrated by finding out about this festival of colour, before we danced outside whilst the adults threw coloured powder over us. We have had such a brilliant time.

Happy Mother's Day!

Beans on toast. As well as planting beans, we have been eating beans. Today we had beans on toast for snack.

Jasper's Beanstalk. Mrs Graham found some beans, just like Jasper. We have put our beans into zippy wallets with water and have taped them to the windows to see if we can grow a beanstalk like Jasper.

Happy Valentines Day! The children chose what type of card they wanted to make to take home for their families.

Number Day. To support the NSPCC Number Day fundraiser the children in Early Years came to school dressed as a Numberblock.

When I grow up. The Reception children have been talking about what job they would like to have when they grow up.

Our Christmas Party!

Festive Family Fun. We had a brilliant time creating a Christmas craft together.

Festive Family Fun, we are expecting a very important visitor today.

Skip our classroom Elf of Christmas kindness is always looking for the kind things we do for each other.

As part of our R.E topic 'How are lights used in festivals?' We found out about the festival of Diwali and made Diya lamps to take home.

Pudsey Bear visited us at breakfast club.

Playing and learning, exploring new toys and making new friends.

After reading the book 'Jackson Pollock Splashed Paint and Wasn't Sorry.' The children used spray bottles to make their own splatter paint pictures.

After reading the book 'Uncle Andy's A faabbbuluos visit with Andy Warhol the children made their own pop art inspired handprints.
