Year 2 will be visiting the farm for the next 5 weeks. On our first visit we met some new members of the farm. The goslings!! They were very soft. We can't wait to see them grow over the next few weeks.

Science- Plants Topic
We have been planted some bulbs and seeds in science. We planted gladioli bulbs and broad bean seeds. It has been very exciting watching them grow over the past few weeks and we look forwards to taking them home to watch them grow even taller!

Year 2's PE day for this half-term is on a Monday from the 19th February-25th March. We are doing gymnastics with Jenny and are super excited to improve our gymnastics skills! Keep checking in for pictures as we progress and develop our confidence.

Autumn 1:
Back in September, Year 2 visited Carlisle Castle as part of their history topic. They explored the Half Moon Battery, The Keep, The Captain's Tower and The Gatehouse. On their return to school they built a scale model of the Castle as part of their DT lessons.
