It's great news that parks are going to reopen so you will all be able to play at the park as well as in your gardens. I am looking forward to being able to get my hair cut, it has grown very long. One of my dogs, Cosmo was very scared of the thunder at the weekend, he kept cuddling in to me to feel safe, I hope you weren't scared by the thunder. This week I am putting two sets of activities up as some of you older nursery children will be moving through to the Reception classroom in September. I hope the weather gets better again this week, I am in school for key worker children and it's so much nicer if we can get outside and play.
I have been very busy at my house, we are having some building work done so it has been very messy as ceilings and walls have been taken down, it looks as if the ogre has been bashing walls down!

I have been busy doing lots of different things, enjoying my daily walks and doing jobs around the house.
At the start of the week I made some carrot cake cupcakes and shortbread faces, they didn't last very long as they were very tasty.
It was my son Jacob's birthday this week, he was 16, a lot bigger and older than you. He was a bit sad that he couldn't take the bike test so he can ride the scooter we bought him, but things are so different for everyone at the moment, he knows he just has to wait until it is safe.
I made him a birthday cake which I was really proud of as it cooked properly, looked good and tasted good too! (I have put some photos onto the website so you can see) Jacob couldn't have a party or see his wider family but he had a good day and had pizza delivered as a treat.
I hope you enjoy all the Goldilocks things I have put onto the website for you to try, I know we loved the stories and dancing when we were together.

I had a video meeting with Mr Bursnall, Mrs Myers, Mrs Beattie and Mrs Haughan, which was very different to how we usually have meetings, we were all at our own homes but we could see each other on our computers. I am going to be at Upperby school again, on Monday and Tuesday looking after the children from our school whose parents are Key Workers, seeing other children from our school makes me miss you all even more. This week I have enjoyed baking, I need to keep practicing I'm not as good as Mrs Marlow!
I have had lots to watch out of my window this week as there was a water leak near my house, this affected the gas so we had no water or gas for two days! Luckily the weather has been nice. There were lots of workmen who dug lots of big holes on the pavements near my house, there were diggers and trucks and lorries and vans (Denver you would have loved seeing all the big vehicles) and lots of men trying to fix the problem. It is all fixed now but the big holes are still there!
I hope you have all managed to enjoy some time in the sunshine, keep being my heroes and stay safe at home, I miss you all. Mrs Graham x
