I can't believe we are now in June!

I hope you have all had a fantastic half term but are still keeping safe. What lovely weather we have had this week!

I have spent most of my week in the garden and in my paddling pool!

I will be calling you all again on Tuesday afternoon for a catch up and to see how you are getting on. I am really looking forward to hearing what you have been doing.

This week I have only set you some English and maths activities.

Miss Hawkins x

This needs to be completed once you have completed the other two activities. It is always good to practise telling the time for 5 minutes every day. Perhaps at different times during the day you could tell an adult what the time is.

WC 25.05.20

Hi Year 2!

I hope you have all had a good week! Again, the weather hasn't been as nice this week but I believe it is going to be sunny this week - just in time for half term!

Last week, I was at the hub school looking after the key worker children for a couple of days. We tried to go out as much as possible and also created some crafts.

I have also been baking again and made some oat and chocolate chip cookies. They are delicious!

As I mentioned last week, it is half term this week so I am only uploading 10 new challenges for you to complete.

I hope you all have a good half term and are continuing to be super stars like I know you all to be!

Hello Year 2!

I hope you have had a lovely week. The weather hasn't been as nice this week but I have still made sure I have got out for exercise. I have been for a few walks but I have also went for some bike rides.

On one of the walks I went on, I collected sticks with my nephews (one of the challenges you were given) which we made into some art. We cut out the shape of a letter with some cardboard and then stuck the sticks down. Once the sticks were dry, we then spray painted over the sticks. What do you think of them? I have attached a picture for you to see what they look like.

Next week is half term so I will only upload 10 new challenges. Please make sure you are completing as much work as possible.

You then have one activity to complete relating to wheres wally. You don't need to print this activity and can just complete it by choosing an item rather than picking a card up.
