  • Avril Barker Citizenship Award

    Fri 07 Apr 2017

The winners of the Avril Barker Good Citizenship Award for the second half of the Spring term are Justin Wallace and Szymon Warnke, both in Year 3.

Avril Barker worked at Brook Street School for many years and made a huge contribution to the school community. After her sad death last year, her family decided to donate an award to the school in her memory. Staff nominate a pupil who has shown great citizenship skills and also embodies the value we learn about each half term.

Both boys are incredibly trustworthy and their honesty is exemplary for all those in school.

    Congratulations!

    Dear Parents

Friday 7th of April is the last day of term, we will be having a non-uniform day. We ask that you donate 50p as normal.

On this day children do not need to wear uniform. the clothes that they wear must be suitable for school. No high heels may be worn, nothing higher than 2cm and no clothing that shows more bare skin than would otherwise be seen when wearing school uniform eg. crop tops and mini skirts

No make-up or jewellery, apart from one pair of studs may be worn.

    Many thanks
