Newman School’s Transition programme has now started in full on Newman School’ website: https://www.newman.cumbria.sch.uk/about-our-school/transition and will be updated daily until the end of term with new videos and tasks; it is receiving a very positive response from the students and parents who are engaging with it. However, the engagement presently is very low and they have asked if we can encourage you as a parent to go on to the website and encourage your child to use it. As time goes on, the tasks will be moving to subject specific activities, but this week and next, they are gently introducing students to some of the more general aspects of secondary school life and key members of staff.
